1. Who we are
This website is operated by DB GROWS (“DB GROWS”, “we”, “us”), a Registered MSME (Udyam) with its head office at 1312, GBP Crest, Mohali, Punjab, India and an office in Wellington, New Zealand. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the “Data Fiduciary”, and under other privacy laws we are the organisation responsible for your information.
This policy covers this website only. Our mobile apps and the products we build for clients have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: name, email, phone number, company, the service you are interested in and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Online payments: name, email, mobile number, amount and invoice/quotation number.
- Live chat: anything you type into our chat window (only if you accept chat cookies).
Payment information
Card, UPI, bank and wallet details are entered directly on the secure pages of our payment providers — Razorpay, Cashfree, PhonePe or Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank details. We receive only the transaction reference, amount, status and, in some cases, the payment method used.
Information collected automatically
- Country detection: to show the right currency, contact details and language, your browser asks a location service (ipapi.co or ipinfo.io) for your country based on your IP address. Only the country is kept, and it is stored in your own browser.
- Preferences: your theme, region, language and cookie choice, stored in your browser.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiries and prepare quotations.
- To provide, manage and invoice the services you buy from us.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and issue receipts and refunds.
- To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We process your information on the basis of your consent, to perform a contract with you or take steps at your request before entering one, to comply with the law, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing our business. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- Payment providers — Razorpay, Cashfree, PhonePe and Stripe — to process your payment.
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our hosting provider (Hostinger), email providers and live chat (Zoho SalesIQ).
- Our business partner TechnoSavvy, which handles billing and payments for our New Zealand clients.
- Our group company WebGoblins, when it helps us deliver your project.
- Authorities, when we are required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.
These organisations may process information outside your country, including in India, New Zealand, the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to make sure your information stays protected.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and chat messages: up to 3 years after our last contact with you.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years).
6. How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS encryption, our admin area is password-protected, and payment details are handled only by PCI-DSS compliant payment providers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- ask for a summary of, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw your consent, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights (India); and
- complain to a regulator — for example the Data Protection Board of India, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand, or your local data protection authority in the UK or EU.
To use any of these rights, email support@dbgrows.com. We will reply within 30 days.
8. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through this website.
